President of Religions for Peace Europe Prof. Genti Kruja visits Interreligious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The President of Religions for Peace Europe and at the same time President of the European National Interreligious Bodies (ENIB), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Genti Kruja, conducted an official visit to the Interreligious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

He was welcomed by representatives of various religious communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, members of the Council Secretariat, led by Mrs. Slađana-Sarit Ninković (ENIB Board member), together with Mr. Stefan Terzić and Mrs. Helena Marrinović.

During the meeting, the Interreligious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented their extensive work, which spans 19 cities and branches, including programs on peace education, youth engagement in interfaith dialogue, and initiatives promoting coexistence and mutual understanding among religious communities at both local and national levels.

Prof. Genti Kruja presented the work and strategic priorities of RfP Europe and ENIB, highlighting their commitment to building sustainable platforms for cooperation among interreligious councils across Europe, strengthening the role of religious leaders in peacebuilding, and actively involving youth and women in interfaith initiatives. He emphasized the importance of coordination between national structures and European networks to ensure a shared and harmonized approach to promoting dialogue and mutual understanding.

The visit was recognized as an important step toward consolidating interfaith cooperation in the region and strengthening European networks in service of peace, stability, and mutual respect.
