The Board of Religions for Peace Europe (RfP Europe) has announced with deep sorrow the untimely passing of Eva Ruth Palmieri, a highly respected member of the Board of RfP Europe and representative of the European Women of Faith Network (EWFN).

Palmieri was distinguished for her tireless efforts in promoting interfaith dialogue and cooperation. She served Religions for Peace Italy with passion, intelligence, loyalty, and a profound sense of responsibility, leaving behind a meaningful legacy that will continue to inspire others.

In his official statement, the President of Religions for Peace Europe, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Genti Kruja, said:

“On behalf of the Board of RfP Europe, we share with deep sadness the untimely passing of our dear friend Eva Ruth Palmieri, who was a valued member of the Board of RfP Europe, on behalf of the European Women of Faith Network (EWFN) in RfP Europe.
Eva Ruth was a true champion of interfaith dialogue and cooperation, devoted with passion, intelligence, loyalty, and responsibility to Religions for Peace Italy. Her dedication and commitment will forever serve as an example to all of us.
She will be greatly missed, but we will continue to nurture and build upon the seeds she planted for justice and authentic peace.
