This week, Prof. Joan Hernández-Serret, Secretary-General of RfP Europe, attended the Multi-Faith High-Level Forum on Advancing Positive Outcomes for Children, Families and Communities in New York City. The event was held at Church Center, 777 United Nations Plaza and was co-hosted by RfP International, UNICEF, and JLI (Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Communities).

In the opening session, Dr. Kezevino Aram, President of Shanti Ashram, Co-Moderator of Religions for Peace, and winner of the Women of Excellence in Multi-Religious Action Award, stressed the need to understand all the dimensions of children’s welfare, from the physical, to the mental and emotional.

Prof. Joan Hernández-Serret was invited to moderate the panel discussion in Session Eight: Faith, Science and Culture: Opportunities for Dialogue and Engagement.
